He specifically discusses Charles A. Bovey (grandfather to Charlie Bovey) and his life in Minnesota working in lumber and milling; his ties to the Washburn-Crosby Company; Charles C. Bovey's (Charlie's Father) life in Minnesota; his connection to the Crosby family; his marriage to Kate Estelle Coon; Charlie Bovey's childhood; his brother Martin (founder of Ducks Unlimited); Charlie's education and trips to Europe; Charlie's arrival in Great Falls to learn milling trade at Washburn-Crosby Company mill; meeting and courting Sue Ford; his entry into farming; building up the ranch; acummulating property; and beginning his antique collecting.
